I am a third-year student studying Mathematics at the University of Surrey and have always had an interest in wildlife photography. A few years ago I raised £500 for the RSPB by selling greetings cards with my photos on and won the Thomson Habitats Photography Competition.

Deadman's Hill, Sandon
We saw three or four Whinchats and a Stonechat in the hay field. This was the first time we had seen a Whinchat.
