I am a third-year student studying Mathematics at the University of Surrey and have always had an interest in wildlife photography. A few years ago I raised £500 for the RSPB by selling greetings cards with my photos on and won the Thomson Habitats Photography Competition.

Spotted Flycatcher, one of a pair. One of my favourite birds.
Hi Poppy, If you look at my last photo, taken from the Chinese Bridge, the birds where in the trees in shot. If you can make it out, there is a small white dot at the far right of this photo - this is the Mute Swan on it's nest. The birds were directly behind the Swan's nest. I hope this helps.
Thank-you...I think we will probably go to Wrest Park next week when it is quieter (a benefit of being home-educated)so hoping that they might still be there :)
We go there quite often...whereabouts were the Spotted Flycatchers? I'd absolutely love to see them :)

ReplyDeleteSad to say that the swan nest had been predated :(
