We had a very enjoyable walk around Lakenheath before moving on to Weeting Heath and May Day Farm with our local RSPB group. We were very lucky with the weather, but I continued my run of bad luck when it comes to Bitterns - I still haven't seen one this year! The best part of the walk was the great views of a Hobby flying across the reed bed for about five minutes. There were also lots of Marsh Harriers and I had a good view of a Marsh Tit.
