I am a third-year student studying Mathematics at the University of Surrey and have always had an interest in wildlife photography. A few years ago I raised £500 for the RSPB by selling greetings cards with my photos on and won the Thomson Habitats Photography Competition.

After locating the Tawny Owl's new tree from previous years, I found both male and female owls perched close together. I was with family and it was so nice seeing everyone so pleased watching the owls through the scope.
