I am a third-year student studying Mathematics at the University of Surrey and have always had an interest in wildlife photography. A few years ago I raised £500 for the RSPB by selling greetings cards with my photos on and won the Thomson Habitats Photography Competition.

Lynford Arboretum
The highlights were Common Crossbill, Hawfinch, Lesser Redpoll, Siskin, Bullfinch, Marsh Tit, Nuthatch and Treecreeper.
